Our 70mm uPVC patio doors are fully reinforced, both on the sliding sashes and the outer case frame; multi-point locking mechanisms secure the sliding sashes into the steel reinforced profiles for the ultimate security specification. Stainless steel anti-lift running gear ensures that the patio doors cannot be lifted from the sliding tracks unlike traditional sliding patio doors.

At ESG Windows we recommend fitting Anti-snap cylinder locks to your new patio doors, this ensures that the lock cannot be tampered with by snapping, bumping or picking the cylinder. Traditional cylinder locks have a weak point at the centre of the barrel which is prone to snapping, the new anti-snap locks are engineered to ensure that they do not snap, meaning that entry cannot be gained in this way.

At ESG Windows our sliding patio doors doors offer excellent levels of energy efficiency, all of our patio doors have a minimum specification of soft coat low-e double glazing with argon filled air gaps and warm-egde thermal spacer bars. Triple glazing is also available in order to further increase the efficiency of the double glazing.

ESG also offer triple glazed sliding patio door systems, this further lowers the U-value of the patio door to reduce energy loss through the glass units. Thermal reinforcement can also be specified replacing the aluminium or steel reinforcement.
