As standard GRP Composite doors are highly secure, the door slab consists of an impact-resistant, dense foam core covered with coloured fibreglass. The door frame consists of a steel reinforced welded uPVC profile to make the door not only stronger but maintenance free.

At ESG Windows we offer a wide range of composite door locking mechanisms which can consist of hook locks, shootbolts and roller cams to ensure that the composite door sash cannot be levered from its reinforced uPVC frame.

We insist on installing only the highest specification of lock barrel, the anti-snap and zero-lift lock pin construction means that the lock cannot be snapped, picked, bumped or drilled. This offers comprehensive protection against all methods of forced entry.

Solid-core composite doors are also available.  They look identical to standard GRP composite doors but, instead of a foam core, they have a laminated timber core for extra security where required.

Composite doors are available in a wide range of energy ratings, the minimum required U-value for current building regulations is 1.8. Our doors achieve 1.6 as standard which exceeds building regulations, using both triple glazing, wool-pile nylon gaskets and a dense thermal foam core.

At ESG Windows we offer a custom-made composite door service to further increase the energy efficiency of your new composite door. Bespoke triple-glazing units are available as an option to further increase the energy efficiency as well as thermally reinforced uPVC door frame profiles.

Our GRP composite doors are hung in a steel reinforced uPVC door frame and are constructed from fibreglass and a dense foam core. The foam composite core is not only incredibly strong, it also offers unbeatable sound and thermal insulation properties when compared to standard UPVC door panels.

Our uPVC doors are available in 33 different foiled woodgrain colours as well as unlimited combinations of painted colours. Many people are drawn to the standard black composite door in a white frame, however some people choose to design a custom composite door to make their property stand out.
